Cream
Cream is a pale, off-white, or ivory coloring. Cream is an even self color throughout with no white or black in the coat. Due to the harsher texture of the guard hairs, the top coat may appear slightly deeper in color than the undercoat.
Cream is primarily driven by the recessive Extension gene (e/e), which switches off black pigment production in the coat. True cream Pomeranians have black nose/eye rims, clear or straw colored whiskers, and light undercoats. There are two types of creams
Creams must have black eye rims, nose, lips and toe pads.
Cream is generally born a silvery color and unlike the clear creams, they can have some black pigmentation on the body hair especially when young, and can have black whiskers. Their puppy coat may be quite silvery but will change over to a creamy color as they change to adult hair.
Eye rims, nose, lips and pads must be black.
